Product updates

Recent improvements to the platform, modules, remote support, and customer-facing operations.

Logs investigations are easier and more widely available

  • You can now save and rerun log investigations. Repeating common checks is faster and more consistent when you are tracking recurring issues.
  • Logs analytics is now available to more eligible plans. More teams can investigate issues directly in Dataplicity without extra support steps.

Device status is less sensitive to noise

  • Online and offline indicators now handle brief signal noise better. Status changes are less likely to flicker on short-lived fluctuations.

Billing, onboarding, and map improvements

  • Billing profile is now visible in-app. You can quickly check account details without leaving the product.
  • You can resend invoice emails directly. No need for manual support handoffs for routine billing follow-up.
  • Invoice PDFs are archived privately. Downloads now come through authenticated links for better security.
  • Provisioning key settings are in product. Onboarding setup is easier to manage from one place.
  • Provisioning keys now show "last used". It is easier to spot stale keys and keep things tidy.
  • Fleet map requests now follow your viewport. Large fleets load faster as you pan and zoom.
  • Map marker clustering improved for scale. Dense fleets stay readable instead of becoming visual noise.

Fleet visibility and billing workflow updates

  • Fleet Map is now available. You can view device geography in a dedicated map view.
  • Map now shows location coverage. You can quickly tell how much of your fleet has estimated location data.
  • Device location is filterable in viewer workflows. Finding activity by location is now much easier.
  • Terminal shows last known device location. Remote sessions now start with better operational context.
  • Invoice history now has pagination. Larger billing histories are easier to navigate.
  • Invoice PDF download is built into billing history. Getting copies is faster and less click-heavy.
  • Invoice download handling is more reliable. Fewer broken links and cleaner file behavior.
  • Endpoint monitors support more accepted status codes. You can model expected non-200 responses without noisy alerts.

Integration and day-to-day workflow improvements

  • Gateway API docs are publicly available. Integration endpoints are easier to discover and use.
  • Legacy provisioning keys remain compatible. Existing installer flows keep working during migration.
  • SSO failure messages are clearer. Login troubleshooting is now faster when sign-in fails.
  • Device tags are more useful day to day. Vendor and system tags now work better in cards and filters.
